1 John 3:1-3

1. How has God bestowed His love on us? What results from receiving this gift?

 

 

 

 

2. What is the hope that we have in God? If we have this hope, what will it cause us to do?




1 John 3:4-9

3. Who is the one who does not sin (i.e., commit lawlessness)?  

 



4. List 2 reasons why Jesus, the Son of God, was manifested? Ultimately, how were these things accomplished? (see John 12:27-33, Matthew 26:28)

 

 

 

 

5. How is one who sins described in verses 4-9?

 

 

 

 

6. How is the child of God, who does not sin, described in verses 4-9?

 

 

 

 

7. One who is born of God does not sin. Use other scriptures to explain what it means to be “born of God”.
